Gingerbread Smoothie

This yummy smoothie screams Christmas! It is filled with all the gingerbread flavors that will put your right in the Christmas spirit. This smoothie is not only fun but it also is packed with important nutrients such as healthy fats and the spices each have a unique benefit such as lowering blood sugar levels.

Ingredients

1 cup coconut milk

1 frozen banana

1 cup ice cubes

2 tbsp almond butter

¼ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp ginger

¼ tsp nutmeg

¼ tsp cardamom

optional- if you want it a bit sweeter you can add stevia or coconut nectar


Method

1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend on high until creamy.
