Banana Coconut Cereal

If you are trying to get your kids off of commercial cereals or looking for a fun snack/treat this is one you should definitely try. I am not fan of cereal for breakfast, since it is full of sugar and carbohydrates which then lead to blood sugar crash, mood swings, and sugar cravings but if you are looking for a healthier alternative this is the one!


1 1/2 cup sprouted sunflower or pumpkin seeds

1 1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/4 cup coconut flour

1 cup banana mashed

1/4 cup coconut milk

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder

1/2 tsp baking soda


  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. In a food processor place the coconut and seed of choice and process until you have a flour.

  3. Add the flour to a bowl and mix with the remaining ingredients.

  4. With 2 piece of parchment paper, place the dough in the middle and use a rolling pin to roll the dough until about 3-4mm thick.

  5. Use a sharp knife to cut into cereal squares.

  6. Bake for 25 min.
